What is a Direct Support Professional (DSP)?
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling and independent lives. As a DSP, you’ll assist with daily life skills, personal care, and meaningful activities—whether in a home setting (group homes, apartments, etc.), out in the community, or at our Life Options Day Program.
To reach a broad range of candidates, we sometimes advertise positions under different titles, such as CNA, caregiver, job coach, or life coach. All of these roles fall under the umbrella of direct support.
