Company Profile
Residential Services Inc. (RSI) is a private, non-profit organization headquartered in Chapel Hill, North Carolina that provides living options and related supports to people of all ages with developmental disabilities.
RSI was founded in 1974 by a group of professionals at the University of North Carolina and today serves a population of over 120 adults and children in 16 residences and our Spring Glen Retirement Community. In addition to our focus on residential options, we also provide an array of vocational options.
Our Mission
RSI provides living options and related supports to people with developmental disabilities of all ages. RSI promotes quality of life by maximizing self-determination, development of independent living skills, community involvement, meaningful social roles, and socially responsible behavior.
Our Vision
Individuals with developmental disabilities have the services and supports they choose in order to live lives characterized by happiness, dignity, health, and the highest possible degree of social responsibility and productivity.

RSI has held this annual fall gathering for over 30 years. Please come out and join RSI residents, family members, Board members, staff, and friends for an afternoon of community and good food. It's a great opportunity to see the whole RSI family together!
Please bring a healthy side dish to share - we will provide the homemade North Carolina BBQ!
Entertainment includes live bluegrass music!
