ICF/MR
ICF-MR (Intermediate Care Facilities for Persons with Mental Retardation) homes are designed to assist individuals with comprehensive needs to live active, fulfilling, and productive lives.
They offer intensive, 24-hour staffing to meet the comprehensive needs of the residents. An interdisciplinary team comprised of the resident, his/her family members, RSI staff members, and consultants determine the nature of services required by each resident based on his/her needs, goals, and desires. Services available include psychological supports; social work; speech/language therapy; occupational therapy; physical therapy; recreation; and dietary, nursing, and pharmacy consultation.
Our Life Options program provides vocational and learning services during the day for adults living in ICF-MR homes. Children living in ICF-MR homes attend public schools.
