Golden Opportunities Team Leader

Residential Services provides support to people of all ages with developmental disabilities. We are looking for a Team Leader for our Golden Opportunities Senior Program. Must be an enthusiastic person who wants to make a difference. Planning and coordinating while helping residents develop to their fullest potential while also having fun!

Leadership experience is necessary along with prior experience in the I/DD field. This is a great job if you are interested in nursing, OT/PT, psychology, sociology, social work or any other human services field.

Information Technology Specialist I

This part time position is ideal for an on-going paid internship in the applied principles and practices of helpdesk and IT management. The position is responsible for front line IT support for RSI users, and often assists on larger projects with the IT Director.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related field to Information Technology. The candidate should be proficient in effective communication skills, training users and resourceful troubleshooting. It is best for the candidate to have had at least academic exposure to various operating systems, network topologies and technologies, disk imaging solutions, and the basics of HTML design. Since this is an introductory position, experience will be provided.  Pay is $9 per hour. 

 

Part-Time Social Worker / Family Specialist

Responsibilities to include: Coordinating applicant waitlist / communicating with applicants and their families, Coordinating admissions and discharges, Participating in ISP (Individual Support Plan) development, Identifying risk and protective factors for residents, Assisting support staff in understanding the family dynamics of the resident’s life, Providing education and training to support staff, Assisting families in accessing community resources and providing appropriate referrals to family and residents.

Senior Direct Supports Coordinator

Coordinate the development of residents’ ongoing daily schedules according to Individual Support Plans. Provide support and supervision of RSI residents to lead self-directed lives and to participate fully in their home and community environments. Train and supervise employees within home setting.  $31,000/year.  Minimum qualifications include at least two years of post-graduate experience working with people with Autism, MR, and IDD and previous supervisory experience.  Bachelor's degree in a related field required.  Valid NC driver's license required.

 

Supervisor of Vocational Day Services

Residential Services, Inc. provides living options and supports to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Dynamic, excited and energetic supervisor needed for our vocational day services program. Supervise staff and residents during vocational program. Full-time Monday-Friday schedule. 

Strong management skills a necessity. Minimum requirements also include a BA/BS in a related field and 2 years of post graduation experience in I/DD. Valid NC drivers license also required.
