Life Options

The Life Options program is designed to meet the needs of RSI residents who may have a variety of skills and interests best suited to a program that includes vocational, educational, recreational, and fitness activities. Vocational and work projects include working in the greenhouse, cleaning the RSI office, operating the Rockin and Rollin bookstore, packagingand distributing needed supplies to RSI homes, operating a towel supply business in partnership with local fitness facilities, making jewelry, and greeting cards. Individuals in small groups participate in community volunteer opportunities as well as special interest clubs such as Book Club, Photography Club, and Fitness Club.  Individuals may also work on educational goals and activities designed for continue their academic growth after school; these include learning Spanish, reading, math, telling time, and computer skills.  Individual therapy needs may also be met at Life Options including implementation of physical therapy and other prescribed exercises.
